My former VistaPrint coworkers and I participated in a fantasy football league for several years.  Our "commissioner" purchased the leather-head/couch-potato trophy, which was presented to the league champion at the end of each season.

 

Seeing the need to showcase our annual champions, I decided to create a thick, square base to mount the plaques.  Four oak boards were glued together and then trimmed using my jointer.  Thanks go to my brother at the Barrington Wood Shop for creating these plaques with his laser etching machine.
